During the fight of her late husband's Terminal illness. Hilda Vermeulen started to built The Art Guest house. This Guest house supported Hilda's late husband's treatments that were required. Since then the Guest house has helped her to support her lifelyhood.
The Guest house mainly accommodates contractors, tourist, business people and photographers. The Guest house is near 3 well known mines (Tronox, MSP, MSR) and Tigerbrands is also closely located.
About Lutzville
Lutzville is a small town in the Olifants River valley, centrally situated in the world-famous Namaqualand flowering area halfway between Cape Town and the Namibia border from both the N7 Highway and the famous R27: R362 West Coast Road travelling north.
There is much to do:
Take a Wine cruise to nearby Cape Rock Wines, Lutzville Vineyards or Seal Breeze Winery. Where you can do wine tasting or have a nice meal.

Hilda Vermeulen is an artist with a broad artistic genre. Has a passion for Art, interior decorating, and gardening.
She has been on the local radio station promoting and teaching art and has had an abundance of art students. She totally adores people and treats all guests uniquely and homely.
Spend a beach day at Strandfontein (28 km) or enjoy the best feast ever called the Madeliefiemakietie where all the famous musician's come and perform on stage.
Papendorp (23 Km) is the home where Carp is catched and sold. You can shop for hand - embroidered linen.

Doringbaai is Snoek Heaven. If want to go for a meal you can visit The Cabin for a lovely meal on the docks and with a lovely view or Fryer's Cove.
Between Vredendal and Lutzville is a special place for the beer lovers the Maskam Beer Brewing company is the ultimate beer tasting experience. For the energetic there is the Tobie Swart trail from Koekenaap.

Our Services
Please note all guests arriving find your way to the reception.
We offer safe parking on our lot with 24/7 security camera monitoring.
There is a security gate and all guests per room have a remote for the gate.
Please note that we have backup lights during load shedding.
Daily room cleaning services provided depending on the arrangements made.
Laundry service are also provided when arranged with the manager.
There are also food services when arranged with the manager.
Our Rooms
All Rooms include Internet Access, Tv, Aircone, Kettle, Microwave, Cutlery, Bed lining and free toiletries (Toilet paper, Shower for use purposes) and
only Latoes, Vygiebos, Skarrelkind, Eden and Skermerlig have stove's.
Our Food
Try some of our delicious food.
You can book for breakfast at the front desk as you arrive, a day before time. Breakfast start from 7:30 the morning till 9:00.
There is also lunch packs that can be booked.
And then also dinners that can be booked, in the morning or a day before.
